ND Horizon
ND Horizon is a short-statured wheat very similar to SY Valda in Eastern ND height, with high yield potential and excellent straw strength. It has shown a significant yield advantage, but with grain protein over 14% in the Red River Valley testing locations. It is similar in disease resistance to other widely grown varieties. It is resistant to stem rust and moderately resistant to fusarium head blight, leaf rust, and stripe rust. With its good yield potential and excellent straw strength, it is
recommended to be grown and is most adapted to the eastern portion of North Dakota.
