HARD RED SPRING WHEAT

ND Stampede

ND VitPro HRSW

ND Stampede is a short to medium statured wheat with high yield potential and adaptation to a wide area of the Northern Plains. Compared with ‘Faller’, it has similar yield and improved straw strength, shorter height, earlier heading date, greater leaf rust resistance, and superior end use quality. It has been tested extensively in the breeding program, statewide yield trials, Minnesota variety trial, and Uniform Regional Nursery. It is moderately resistant to FHB, moderately susceptible but similar to many commercial cultivars for BLS, moderately resistant to leaf and stem rust, and susceptible to stripe rust.
