SOYBEAN

ND2501SCNGT

ND2501SCNGT

This variety was developed through the soybean breeding program and tested at multiple locations. ND2501SCNGT is a glyphosate-tolerant soybean line with similar maturity to ND21008GT2O and ND17009GT and is recommended as MG 0.1. It is indeterminate with purple flowers, tan pods, gray pubescence, and yellow, dull seed with a buff hilum. It is moderately tolerant to iron deficiency chlorosis (IDC; average score 2.6) and pre-emergent metribuzin, and has excellent lodging resistance (average score 1.4/5).

The variety is resistant to Phytophthora root rot races 3 and 4 and to soybean cyst nematode (SCN) HG types 0 and 2.5.7, with high resistance to HG type 7. It may help prevent SCN spread into uninfected fields, and highly infested fields may see yield increases of up to 10 bushels per acre. ND18-20092GT typically yields about 3 bushels per acre more than ND17009GT and ND21008GT20.
